Ford Supply Chain Chief Liz Door Team Visit Sanse Group
On June 26, 2024, amidst the summer heat,
Liz Door, Ford's Chief of Global Supply Chain, led a delegation from Ford Asia
Pacific, Ford China, and JMC to visit Sanse Group's Jiangxi factory. This visit
was aimed at exploring collaboration on the export business of the detachable
hardtop for the Bronco model. The Sanse Group leadership, including Chairman Li
Jiachun and General Manager Xiao Haitao, warmly welcomed the delegation with a
team from the project, technology, engineering, and sales departments.
During the visit, the
Ford team gained deep insights into Sanse Group's corporate culture,
development history, R&D capabilities, and manufacturing strength. They
also conducted an on-site inspection of the Ford Bronco's detachable hardtop,
designed and produced by Sanse, expressing high recognition of its key
indicators and compliance at the current stage.
The Ford Global Procurement team
enthusiastically toured the Jiangxi factory, focusing particularly on the
hardtop's bonding and assembly workshops. They commended Sanse Group's ability
to bring the Bronco hardtop project from R&D to industrialization within a
short timeframe and shared valuable insights on Ford's key control processes.
In addition to the factory tour, senior
leaders from both sides discussed export business collaboration. The Ford team
expressed hopes that Sanse Group would continue to maintain high product
quality, increase production capacity, and welcomed the possibility of Sanse
establishing overseas factories in the future. They emphasized the importance
of achieving mutual success and sustainable growth in upcoming projects.
In the face of an increasingly competitive
